The thesis project aims to create a whole new infrastructure of learning that intertwines and weaves in and out of the neighbourhood precinct. The typology of this network of learning spaces that eventually connects to the central epicenter, thus formulated a set of learning pedagogies that in turn, demands for certain spatial implications. In doing so, the project aims to allow professionals, community residents and Junior College students to coexist and cohabit the spaces that would not only facilitate holistic learning but also, opportunities for multi-generational learning to take shape. Above all, The Axon questions the need for a centralized institution where students are just bounded by the gated learning environment.
