The world as w know it will be doomed within the next decade if we don’t put our shit together to battle climate change. As civilians it’s important that we act, too, or we will be the generation that didn’t do something when we could. In this project I looked at how some 200,000 Penangite can cut their carbon footprint by 72.4% to hit the maximum carbon (2 tonnes/year) we can produce as an individual. They live in a city where vegetables are grown in the streets, where they cycle to work because it’s so damn near, and buildings require only half the energy because they are so naturally ventilated.
