Sourced around the region, the thesis therefore premises on the concept of symbiotic relationship between Community Forestry (CF) and village living in Gunung Kidul Regency (GK) in Jogjakarta. The goals of CF have been impeded due to GK’s natural and socio-economic conditions. The thesis ultimately aims to increase villagers’ livelihood, welfare, financial returns and enhance their natural environment. Built upon a network of capitals, the proposal will be manifested by a universal village planning. Thus, improving symbiosis and social equity around the regency and beyond.
