Premised upon the xenotransplantation technology between humans and pigs, notions of bodies: the sacred and the profane, as well as the lure of mechanical production are explored through the architecture -- an organ farm manifested as a pavilion that ushers people into the main hospital buildings (SGH).
Fine breeding environments (mud as quintessential to healthy growth of pigs) are set up, in exchange for equally superior human organs. However, between humans and pigs lie very real risks of disease transfers and no less the perception of the latter’s otherness.
