Inspired by Bali Green School, this project aims to promote bamboo material in construction industry as substitute to concrete and steel which are the prime contributors to atmospheric carbon content.
Instead of relying on craftsmen’s availability and adopting intuitive construction approach like Bali Green School, the investigation of a standardized manual for recruited workers to learn and build with bamboo is the vision of this project.
Therefore, this project started as a maker project to investigate both standardized natural bamboo structure and bamboo composite as modern material which would provide a sustainable future for the generations to come.
