The project is aiming at solving the ageing society and brain drain problem in Fushun, China, a post-industrial city, by creating an inter-generational community. The urban design part of the project provides a decent living neighborhood, and the architecture at the foot of culture landmark is to act as a catalyst to rejuvenate the preserved industrial building and its surroundings.
