The thesis presumes that incarcerated people will rejoin society one day. The challenge, then, is how to have them rejoin society as a better person? Surely the current state - locking them up for 23 hours a day - does not help in this rehabilitative process. While there are current measures in place to promote reformation, the thesis proposes new modes of living that emancipate and reform these people who deserve more help than punishment.
